We are proud owners of new 2012 Honda Civic and want to thank Iven Cunanan and the entire Tony Honda staff for making this possible. We have had the vehicle for four months now and enjoying it immensely.
When we first decided to purchase this vehicle, we were excited about the prospects of owning another Honda, but we were somewhat anxious about the process of buying. We did much of our research on the internet and first approached our local dealership on the Big Island. Subsequent to this initial contact, we decided to solicit other dealers statewide. After narrowing down our choices to two dealers, we finally chose Tony Honda primarily due to our interaction with Iven Cunanan. His friendly demeanor, willingness to listen, responsiveness to our questions, comprehensive product knowledge and his overall conscientiousness made us respectful of his professionalism and left us the impression he sincerely wanted our business.
As a consequence, we were able to transact the entire purchase by phone and extremely delighted when we were able to consummate this process only after our second phone call! Since we did not physically go to Oahu to complete the paperwork and inspect the vehicle, everything was done through the mail and photos provided through the email. The day finally came, the vehicle was shipped and arrived in excellent condition. In retrospect, aside from the initial manufacturing delays, the whole process went reasonably well and better than expected. Due to this favorable experience, we would definitely consider purchasing another vehicle from Tony Honda where we did "experience the difference" and look forward to extending our relationship with Iven.

I went to the Honda parts dept on Monday and received the best service I've ever had. The employee knew exactly what I was talking about and exactly what I needed. They were definitely knowledgeable and friendly. I wouldn't recommend any other dealership.

I give Iven Cunanan a 5-star rating because he was not a pushy salesman. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. He seemed to be very honest and sincere and made me feel as a part of the Honda family. I had a 2006 Honda CR-V and upgraded to a newer model. The other sales persons were nice also. I recommend my friends and family to see Iven if they are planning on looking for a new car.

Aside from my strong disappointment on the inability of Tony Honda to honor the 0.9% financing being offered on the website when I contacted the dealership, it was a fine experience. Iven is extremely helpful, knowledgable and definitely works very hard to make a smooth deal and help his customers.
Not getting the advertised 0.9% financing which had been offered as a 4th of July weekend special and was still showing on the dealership home page on 7/8/11 really made me unhappy and almost prevented me from buying from Tony Honda. However Iven overcame my anger with his professionalism.

Best auto experience I've ever had, and quickest,,, the longest period of the experience was waiting for the vehicle being detailed. I'd like to send a big Mahalo to Iven and my finance person (I'm sorry I forgot his name), went up and beyond on helping me get financed.

Our salesman IVEN could not have been any better in helping us find the car we wanted. He was very helpful to answer any and all of our questions. He was very patient with us being that we had our 3 small children with us throughout the whole sale. He accommodated us as if he knew us as good friends. My husband and I especially loved having a NO PRESSURE experience with Iven. We would highly recommend everyone purchasing their Honda from Tony Honda. If and when we decide to purchase another car, we will sure to purchase it from Tony Honda.

I was a little afraid of going to a dealership by myself. I have heard horror stories about the other stores in Hawaii but as soon as I met Tim Nolan I was totally impressed!! I am a first time car-buyer, and I got a 2011 Honda Fit Sport. I immediately knew what car I wanted to get, but since I had no credit, it was impossible for me to get the car that I so wished for through financing. However, Tim and manager, Moi worked with me so patiently to somehow get me financed, and I was able to drive home the most cutest and awesome car I have ever known. Tim and Moi are very knowledgeable and friendly, as with the entire Tony Honda staff. They made sure that I am 100% satisfied--which I am. I am glad I went to Tony Honda. Although they are not Honda Windward, they "Made a believer out of me".

We have dealt with Tony Honda/Ivan Cunanan several times now. Each time, Iven has always done more to help us put a good deal together than any other auto sales professional we have ever known. He is very knowledgeable, professional, cheerful, but most of all - honest! There hasn't been one single thing that Iven has ever said to us that was not the absolute truth...even if it was something difficult for us to hear. Iven stays in constant communication with us every step of the way .. letting us know how things are progressing in "putting the deal together" .. he is the hardest, most honest working auto sales professional we have ever known. Iven's goal is to make his customers happy! He certainly has accomplished that every single time we've been to Tony Honda. He is such an honest, hard working professional we only deal with him now! He also calls/emails us periodically just to keep in touch and ask how things are going - if there's anything he can do for us. His efforts just don't stop after he's sold us a car & we've driven off the lot. He is sincerely interested in keeping a good relationship with his customers.

I first visited another Honda dealer on the island and was totally turned off by the salesperson's hard sell technique and his stretching of the truth. At Tony Honda, Darren, was low pressure, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I met with Darren 3 times before I purchased my car and he was very patient in helping me decide on a car to purchase. I am recommending Darren and Tony Honda to all of my friends and family.

Both he and the rest of the staff carried themselves in a professional manner and I was very comfortable with the entire purchasing and negotiation process.
I will continue to work with them as a result of the personalized service and communication that has taken place. Tim treated my and my team with the utmost respect and he actually made, what I thought would have been unpleasant experience, pleasant. The thoroughness with which he answered my questions was impressive and he took the time to find an honest and evaluative response if he did not know the information readily.
In the future, should I continue to lease or buy Honda's I will certainly return to this dealership because of the cordial reception and working experience I had.

Iven was fantastic. He made the new car purchase painless, quick, easy and non stressful. My husband and I are completely satisfied with the service he provided. He listened to what we wanted and made it happen, effortlessly. He is very good at what he does. He also made the time spent at Tony Honda personal. He shared stories with us about himself and his family and was very interested in learning about ours. Most dealerships and salespersons could care less about anything other than your money. Iven is not like at all.
We feel as though we have made a lifelong friend and of course will see him again when we are in the market for another car. All of our friends will know about him too.
