2022 Honda Passport

The 2022 Honda Passport is available in three trim packages. Owners can choose from the EX-L, TrailSport, or Elite. All models have LED exterior lighting, a shark-fin antenna, programmable remote entry, power mirrors with integrated turn signals, rear spoiler, a power moon roof, walk-away auto lock, a power tailgate, and acoustic glass. The TrailSport and Elite also boast heated wiper zones, fog lights, and roof rails. The Passport is available in a variety of modern paint colors. Exterior paint options include Crystal Black, Lunar Silver, Obsidian Blue, Platinum White, Radiant Red, and Sonic Gray.

Every Passport is powered by a 280-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 262 pound-feet of torque. The V-6 is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on the EX-L, with available all-wheel drive. The TrailSport and Elite are all-wheel drive only. The all-wheel-drive system has an intelligent traction management system that allows you to choose from snow, sand, or mud drive modes.

Properly equipped, the front-wheel drive EX-L can tow up to 3,500 pounds. All-wheel drive models have a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds. Standard performance features include cruise control, hill-start assist, power steering, stability control, traction control, and power-assisted anti-lock brakes. The MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspensions provide a smooth, comfortable ride.

The Passport provides comfortable seating for five. All trim packages boast leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, a 10-way power adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support, push-button start, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, rear window defroster, power window and locks, illuminated steering-wheel-mounted controls, a tri-zone automatic climate control system, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The cabin is free of road and engine noise, thanks to the Passport's active noise cancellation system. Owners of the Elite will also enjoy ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. With all seats occupied, the Passport provides 41.2 cubic feet of cargo space. The 60/40-split-folding second-row bench can lie flat, increasing cargo area to 77.7 cubic feet. The Passport's cargo area includes lights, underfloor storage compartments, tie-down anchors, and bag hooks. Infotainment amenities abound in the Passport. All models include Bluetooth audio streaming, USB ports, 12-volt power outlets, an eight-inch touch screen display, HondaLink, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio, HD radio, a wireless phone charger, and SMS text messaging, and a CabinControl remote. Onboard navigation, voice recognition, and Honda HD Digital Traffic is also standard on the TrailSport and Elite.

Standard safety features include daytime running lights, a multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, child-proof rear door locks, second-row LATCH, and a suite of advanced airbags. Standard Honda Sensing technologies include collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning. Standard driver-assist technology includes blind-zone monitoring, cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, and a rear-seat reminder.
