2023 Honda Odyssey

This year's Odyssey sees the Base LX trim from former years no longer available. This makes the EX trim level the base, followed by the EX-L, the new Sport trim, the Touring, and the top-of-the-line Elite. In terms of looks, the Odyssey hasn't changed from the 2022 model and still provides a sporty profile for a minivan. A few exterior features include 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights. The new Sport trim adds a black grille and black window trim, plus 19-inch wheels that are also available at the Touring level.

You only have one engine choice for the Odyssey, but it has plenty of power to get you anywhere you want to go. It's a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that gives you 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque with front-wheel drive. It's driven by a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Even when full of passengers and gear, the Odyssey has plenty of pep to pass in traffic. It offers steering and braking that are both stable and precise, so you'll feel confident on any ride in the city or on the highway. It's easy to drive with a smooth-shifting transmission. The Odyssey features a well-appointed interior with sliding rear doors and easy entry and exit. The second-row seating is supremely customizable. The seats recline and slide sideways. The second row is also removable, so you can create more room in the back when needed. The van also includes an interior camera system so the driver can keep an eye on those in the rear when necessary. In addition, the range-topping Elite offers a CabinTalk intercom system so you can easily communicate with those in the back seats. Even at the base level, you get luxury features like tri-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats. Other options at higher levels include wireless device charging, an onboard Wi-Fi hot spot, a back-seat Blu-ray entertainment system, and upgraded premium audio. The seats and steering column are also adjustable with a wide range of positioning. The front and back seats are incredibly comfortable, even on long rides. The technology is superior as well, with a well-appointed infotainment system featuring large virtual buttons and great touch sensitivity, as well as standard smartphone integration.

Every Odyssey comes standard with a solid suite of safety and driver-aid features. These include front crash avoidance and warning, lane-departure warning and correction, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alerts, and blind-spot monitoring.
