2024 Honda Accord vs 2024 Toyota Camry

2024 Honda Accord vs 2024 Toyota Camry

Overview

Two of the most successful midsize sedans in motoring history, the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, have been long-time rivals. Most people are loyal to one or the other, but it's worth re-examining your options. Let's compare the 2024 models to help you decide which offers more bang for your buck.

Interior

After a major refresh in 2023, the Accord's interior seems much more modern than the Camry's, which hasn't seen substantial changes since 2018. Many love the honeycomb trim hiding the Accord's air vents and the newly redesigned, supportive front seats. In contrast, the Camry seems a little long in the tooth, especially at the base level. Critics have called its design "basic" and panned its "convoluted lines," which make it look more dated than the minimalist Honda. There's also a much wider gap between the quality of materials used for the lower and higher trims than in the Accord.

Tech Features

The Camry and Accord have an impressive array of tech features on board. Seven-inch infotainment touchscreens come standard, but the Accord's optional 10.2-inch screen is much larger than the Camry's 9-inch upgrade. Honda Sensing and Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ are comprehensive and standard throughout the trims. Both vehicles have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, but they're only wireless in the Accord. The Camry also doesn't come with Amazon Alexa as the Accord does. These two vehicles have competed back and forth for customers for years, but in 2024, the victory goes to the Honda Accord. This elegant sedan is only slightly more expensive than the Toyota, yet it offers a much more luxurious interior and wireless connectivity.
