Keaiwa Heiau State Recreation Area

Keaiwa Heiau State Recreation Area is located in Waipahu. It’s a popular spot for hiking and camping as well as fishing and picnicking. The recreation area has plenty of amenities like restrooms, showers, picnic tables, drinking water, and more. There are several trails at the park that lead to various points of interest around the area.
The most popular trail is the Kama’oli’i Hiking Trail, which leads up to a waterfall and eventually connects with another trail called the Pu’u O Mahuka Tree Trail. This trail runs through a forested valley for about two miles before ending at another waterfall called Kamalani Falls.

Ahupua‘a ‘O Kahana State Park

Ahupua’a’ O Kahana State Park is the perfect place to spend the day with your family. It’s located just ten minutes from Waipahu and offers a variety of activities. You can hike along the park’s trails, fish in its ponds, and even swim in a spring-fed waterfall!  Not only do they have plenty of hiking trails, but they also have great views of the ocean and mountains.
They even have a small zoo with some exotic animals that you won’t see anywhere else! There are also several different waterfalls within the state park, including one that runs year-round thanks to a natural spring that feeds it. This gives visitors an opportunity to enjoy swimming in its pool during the summer months or even jump from its falls during wintertime when they freeze over!

Ka’ena Point State Park

The North Shore of Oahu is a beautiful place to visit. It’s home to many amazing beaches and parks, including Ka’ena Point State Park. Ka’ena Point State Park is located on the west side of the island, just past Waimea Bay.
If you’re looking for a place to camp on Oahu that is off the beaten path, then this is the park for you. It offers camping right on the beach with all of the amenities you could want or need, including showers and restrooms, as well as picnic tables and grills. The park also has two trails that lead hikers down a hillside into some of the most amazing views in all of Hawaii!
