The Honda Accord enters the 2024 model year fresh off the introduction of the 11th generation in 2023. There’s a lot to like in the 2024 Honda Accord lineup, from the powertrain options to the refined interior. Here are the top reasons to love this midsize sedan.

5 Reasons to Love the 2024 Honda Accord

1. Stylish Exterior Design

After the big overhaul in 2023, the Accord doesn’t see major design changes for 2024. You will get standard 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, taillights, and turn indicators. If you go up to the Sport Hybrid, you will find 19-inch wheels and power side mirrors. All models except the base LX also get a one-touch power moonroof.

2. Efficient Powertrains

For 2024, Honda offers the Accord in two gas models and four hybrid trims. The gas-powered LX and EX trims come with a 1.5L turbo-four engine paired with a CVT transmission. This engine produces 192 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque, returning 29 MPG in the city and 37 MPG on the highway.
Hybrid variants get a hybrid powertrain that combines a 2.0L engine and two electric motors to generate a net 204 horsepower. The EX-L Hybrid has the best fuel economy of 48 MPG combined. This is because the smaller 17-inch wheels have a lower rolling resistance. All the other hybrid models return 44 MPG combined, but it’s a small price to pay for larger 19-inch wheels.

3. Premium Interior Features

The Accord’s interior gets standard cloth seats and soft-touch materials all around. Leather-trimmed seats come standard in the EX-L Hybrid, Sport-L Hybrid, and Touring Hybrid models. All trims except the base LX and the Sport Hybrid get heated front seats, while the Touring Hybrid adds heating for the rear seats and ventilation for the front seats.
Except for the LX, all other models have dual-zone automatic climate control and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. There are handy storage solutions around the cabin. You will get a center console with a storage compartment, front and rear beverage holders, and door pockets.

4. Intuitive Infotainment System

The standard infotainment system is a 7-inch color touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. You also get HondaLink, which gives you access to remote functions. If you go up to the hybrid models, you will find a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top Touring Hybrid trim gets a wireless charger and Google built-in.

5. Reliable Safety Technology

Honda Sensing comes standard in all the gas and hybrid models of the 2024 Accord. It has safety features like forward collision warning, lane departure warning, collision mitigation braking, traffic jam assist, and adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow. You also get a driver attention monitor and automatic high-beam headlights.
